Payment Options

I offer teletherapy services to clients located throughout California. The standard rate for each psychotherapy session is $175. Payment for the session is due at the time of service. I accept various payment methods, including cash, debit, credit cards, health savings account (HSA), and flexible spending account (FSA) cards. While I do not directly bill insurance, I can provide a superbill (receipt) to submit to your insurance company for any out-of-network therapy benefits you may have. I recommend contacting your insurance provider using the number on the back of your insurance card to inquire about your out-of-network therapy benefits and the process for submitting an out-of-network reimbursement claim

Good Faith Estimate Notice

Effective January 1, 2022, federal laws regulating client care have been updated to include the “No Surprises” Act. This act requires clients to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” of what the charges could be for medical and mental health care.  Under the law, healthcare providers are required to give clients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.  You are entitled to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services. As your psychotherapist, you may ask me and any other medical provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. I look forward to discussing and answering any questions you may have regarding Good Faith Estimate and for additional information, please visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
