About Me

Welcome! I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and certified in perinatal mental health, specializing in women's mental health and supporting women throughout their lifespans, with a particular focus on pregnancy and postpartum-related mental health challenges.

Life can be challenging, and I'm here to support your healing journey. Whether you're dealing with anxiety, sadness, trauma, grief, and loss or adjusting to being a new parent, therapy can help.

My approach to therapy is integrative and holistic, respecting and honoring diverse cultural backgrounds while promoting healing. Your uniqueness and cultural values are essential to me, and I strive to create a safe space where they are respected and celebrated.

My clinical journey included experience in various settings, including foster care, substance abuse treatment, domestic violence, and community mental health agencies, I've gained valuable insights and developed evidence-based methods to offer the best possible care.

If you're ready to take back control of your life and move forward, I want you to know that it's possible. I've helped many people, just like you, find hope and joy again.

I'm here to support and empower you on this journey toward a happier and healthier life. You don't have to face this alone. Let's work together to find hope and healing.

My Professional Background

I received my master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from the School of Cultural and Family Psychology at Pacific Oaks College in Pasadena, CA. I specialized in African American Family Studies, which has provided me with valuable insights into the unique cultural considerations and challenges faced by women of diverse backgrounds.

Additionally, I am certified as a Perinatal Mental Health PMH-C specialist by Postpartum Support International. I am passionate about helping birthing people navigate mental health in all stages of their perinatal period and postpartum (infertility, pregnancy, postpartum, grief & loss and adjustment to parenthood).
